Design structural steel structures of a wide variety. Designs include modeling of structures using Robot Millenium and STAAD Finite Element Programs. Layout, deisgn, and detailing of drawings with steel and concrete components with emphasis on conveyor and mechanical systems. Drawings include conveyor arrangements, mechanical units, structural components, chutes, silos, tanks, reclaim tunnels, and stacking tubes. Layout and design of structures in relation to the International Building Code, Standard Building Code, Uniform Building Code, and BOCA with special emphasis on latest OSHA and MHSA regulations. Design of Steel Structures for international projects (South Africa, Brazil, Columbia) Check foundation, structural and mechanical design drawings for structural, mechanical, and physical correctness. Structural analysis/design of wood and plastic structures. Develop grading and site plans along with associated drainage and utilities. Inspections of existing structures. Maintain data server, workstations and LAN. Includes repair, upgrades, purchases and maintenance. Training of engineering interns and designers/drafters. Project team leader/member
