Using hand calculations to more advanced finite element software, we are able to analyze various structural systems to determine the stress, deflection, and vibration levels on the components (elements) of the system. And, we will make a comparison to determine if these levels are below acceptable levels as set by building code, engineering practice, and/or serviceability limits.
